The Hot Springs of Utah

To visit, simply take US-189 to Midway and follow signs to Homestead Resort. Beyond soaking, the resort offers a variety of spa services, making it a great all-around family destination.
2. Fifth Water Hot Springs
For those who love the thrill of hiking, head to Fifth Water Hot Springs, located near Spanish Fork. This 2.5-mile hike rewards you with several natural hot pools, with temperatures ranging from 90 to 107 degrees Fahrenheit. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque views of the canyons and bubbling streams.
Keep in mind that when the trail is wet, it can become slippery. This spot is also dog-friendly, meaning you can bring your furry friends along for the adventure!
3. Mystic Hot Springs
Mystic Hot Springs in Monroe offers an artistic and eclectic hot springs experience. The mineral-rich waters flow into various colorful pools and bathtubs, surrounded by vibrant artwork. Visiting Mystic is not just about soaking; it's about enjoying the creative and funky atmosphere.
Access the springs by taking I-15 South towards Monroe. Be ready to capture vibrant photographs in this Instagram-friendly location that attracts couples and adventurers alike.
4. Crystal Hot Springs
Nestled conveniently north of Salt Lake City, Crystal Hot Springs also known. as the Honeyville Hot pots is an accessible family-friendly option. It features multiple pools with temperatures ranging from warm to hot, plus fun waterslides for a thrilling experience. Families can also take advantage of onsite camping, making it an ideal weekend getaway.
You can reach this hot spring by taking I-15 to exit 365. Just a heads up, weekends can get crowded so arriving early is key to finding a good spot.
5. Baker Hot Springs
The geothermal springs at Fumarole Butte, situated northwest of Delta, Utah, are a man-made system known as Crater Springs or Abraham Hot Springs. These springs provide a serene and rejuvenating experience for visitors, offering mineral-rich waters that are perfect for relaxation. Nestled in a peaceful and secluded location, the springs at Fumarole Butte allow guests to unwind and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
6. Lava Hot Springs
Though it's technically in Idaho, Lava Hot Springs is close enough to Utah to deserve a mention. This spot offers a range of natural pools with varying temperatures for relaxing after an outdoor adventure.
To visit, just head north on I-15 and enjoy a scenic day trip. This location is perfect for those looking to bask in the hot springs after a day of hiking or exploring.
7. Inlet Hot Springs
Located in the lakeside wetlands near the northwest side of Utah Lake, Inlet Hot Springs is also known as Saratoga Hot Springs.
These are my least favorite springs as they are extremely muddy with clay. Any swimsuit you wear will be ruined so take an old one!
8. Meadow Hot Springs
Meadow is located off I-15, 1.5 hours south of Provo and two hours northwest of Bryce Canyon National Park
Located just off I-15 and accessible via a dirt road, these privately owned hot springs are situated in a farmer’s field. The owner welcomes visitors to the springs and has constructed a walking trail leading to them, along with a surrounding fence. The first pool is deeper and hotter than the others, maintaining an average temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Skilled scuba divers can even explore an underwater cave within it! Continuing further along the path, you will find two additional pools that are cooler and shallower.
